27 Shizuoka / Kunoh-zan Tohshogu Shrine in Nihondaira
Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Edo Shogunate, was buried here after his death.
After the first anniversary of his death, he left a will that he would be buried in Nikko.
28 Kanagawa / Kiritohshi in Kamakura City
Minamoto no Yoritomo established the shogunate here and started the samurai era. Kamakura was surrounded by mountains on three sides and the sea on one side, making it a natural fortress.There are only seven narrow roads carved into the mountain called "Kiritohshi" to enter this land.
