19 Wakayama / Kamikura Shrine in Shingu City
Part of the World Heritage "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range". It enshrines a huge stone that is said to have descended from a god when you climb a steep cliff road.
20 Mie / Iga-Ueno station, Iga City
One of the ninja's hometowns, the station platform is also fun. The Ninja Museum inside Iga Ueno Castle is interesting.
18 Nara / the ruins of Heijokyo
Daigokumon Gate (South Gate), which was restored on the ruins of Heijokyo ancient capital. The Kintetsu train runs through Heijokyo, so you can also see the Suzakumon Gate on the other side.
19 Wakayama / Kokawa-dera Temple
In front of the main hall of Kokawa-dera Temple, there is a rare stone garden, which has been designated as a national scenic spot.

On Chikubu Island in Lake Biwa, there is a Noh story set on this island. The Karamon gate, corridor, and main hall are designated as national important cultural properties.
